Harvest Mission Statement
One Mission...One Mind...One God.
Gathering
& Growing a Community of Hope…
With the
Truth & Compassion of Christ for the Kingdom
of God…
In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We envision…
- Eliminating the barrier of transportation by bringing
“the church” into the neighborhood
We envision…
- Dispelling old beliefs or traditions of what church should
look like
We envision…
- Creating a comfortable, non-threatening environment where
seekers can hear the Word of God, worship, pray, receive
prayer, ask questions, and develop friendships
We envision…
- Helping individuals develop “healthy habits”
of commitment to…
God, family, relationships, work, and life
We envision…
- God raising up a group of indigenous leaders to disciple,
equip, & lead this “neighborhood” church
We envision…
- Volunteers awakening to their call to further the “Great
Commission” by reaching the lost in our urban community
Finally…
We envision an urban revival; A saturation
of God’s love, grace, and mercy; To bring hope to the
hopeless and healing to the hurting; This can only be achieved
with God as our source, Christ as our model, and the Holy
Spirit as our guide. We strive to be Jesus’ “feet
in the street” in Waterloo.
